CHIKAMASA snips are unmistakably well made. The blades are sharp and stay sharp as long as you use then for light duty (no pruning large branches or stems). They come with a light coating of oil to protect them in storage. The finger holes are large enough for thick fingers but comfortable for those with smaller hands. Smooth clean cuts help the plants heal faster than ripping the leaf off or leaving a rough cut. These are my favorite snips.
